What to include
To help us respond quickly, please tell us clearly what you need. If you’re reporting an error in a guide, a link to the page and a short description of the issue is ideal. If you’re making a privacy request, describe the information or action you’re asking about.
What we can’t help with
We often receive requests to “look up” a vehicle’s owner from a licence plate or VIN. We can’t do this, and no legal public service in Alberta can — plate and registration data are privacy-protected and available only to authorised parties. If you’re trying to research a vehicle before buying, start with a free VIN check instead, and see our guidance on why plate lookups don’t work that way.
