  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain four-door 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles. The passenger-side rear door may be opened from inside of the vehicle when the child safety lock is in the "ON" position.

  Remedy: Dealers will inspect the passenger-side child safety locks door child safety lock and latch, and replace them, if necessary, free of charge. • VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022 Bronco and Ranger vehicles. The windshield may not have been properly bonded to the vehicle, which could allow it to detach during a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 212, "Windshield Mounting."

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with rearview camera systems and 8-inch screen displays. The rearview camera image may still be displayed after a backing event has ended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

  Remedy: The SYNC module software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 25, 2024. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22C27.

• AIR BAGS:SENSOR:SIDE IMPACT

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles. The right or left side impact sensors may not be properly secured to the vehicle.

• POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2023 F-150, Mustang, Explorer, Bronco, and 2023 Lincoln Aviator vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions. The transmission may contain a loose bolt which could prevent the transmission from engaging the park gear, although the gear shifter position may indicate that the vehicle has been shifted to "PARK."

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023 Bronco Wildtrak and 2022 Bronco Raptor vehicles. Internal damage to the steering gear may require increased steering effort or cause the steering wheel to lock-up.

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with 8-inch SYNC infotainment screens that were previously remedied under recall 22V-825. The rearview camera image may still be displayed after a backing event has ended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

• SEAT BELTS:CRITICAL FASTENERS

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles built with the 5-Door body style. The first-row seat belt latch plates may be difficult to access from their stowed position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

  Remedy: Dealers will add a sliding clip latch stop to the driver and front passenger seat belts, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed July 14, 2023. Owner letters informing owners that parts are available were mailed on October 2, 2023. • EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Bronco, 2023 Super Duty F-250, and 2019-2023 Ranger vehicles. The Tire and Loading Information (TREAD) label states the incorrect load carrying capacity, which can result in an overloaded vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

  Remedy: Ford will mail a new TREAD label to install over the existing label, free of charge. Owners will also have the option to take their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to have the new label installed, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 21, 2023. • ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:HARD PARTS INTERNAL/MECHANICAL

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Bronco, F-150, Edge, Explorer, Lincoln Nautilus, and Lincoln Aviator vehicles equipped with either a 2.7L or 3.0L Nano EcoBoost engine. The engine intake valves may break while driving, which can result in engine failure and a loss of drive power.

• BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Bronco, F-150, 2021-2024 Edge, 2022-2025 Escape, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, F-600, 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, 2024 Ranger, Mustang, 2021-2023 Lincoln Nautilus, 2022-2024 Navigator, and 2023-2024 Corsair vehicles. A software error may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display when the vehicle is in reverse.

  Remedy: The accessory protocol interface module (APIM) software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air update, free of charge. This will be a phased campaign, with the remedy becoming available in different phases based on model and model years. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on June 26, 2025. Additional letters will be mailed once the final remedy is available on each phase.   Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-150, and 2022 Expedition vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump may fail, which can result in an engine stall while driving.

  Remedy: Dealers will replace the low pressure fuel pump on super duty vehicles and update the powertrain control module (PCM) software on all other affected vehicles, free of charge. • EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:ENGINE BLOCK HEATER

  Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Lincoln MKC, 2016-2023 Explorer, 2019-2020 Fusion, 2019-2024 Ranger, 2020-2022 Lincoln Corsair, Escape, 2021-2024 Bronco, Bronco Sport, and 2022-2024 Maverick vehicles. The engine block heater may crack and develop a coolant leak, causing it to short circuit when the block heater is plugged in.

  Remedy: Owners are advised not to plug in their block heater until the vehicle is remedied. Dealers will replace the block heater, free of charge. Owners will also have a alternative option to replace engine block heater element with a threaded blanking plug, and remove the block heater electrical cord. • SEATS

  Headrest on rear passenger side will not stay up.

• SUSPENSION,WHEELS

  On August 26, 2026, my 2022 Ford Bronco experienced a serious safety related failure while I was driving. The vehicle displayed a sway bar disconnect system warning and became disabled, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. The Bronco had to be towed to a Ford dealership, where it is available for inspection. Ford previously claimed that it inspected my Bronco under a recall specifically pertaining to the sway bar system. Ford determined that the sway bar did not need to be replaced and closed the recall as completed. The vehicle has now experienced a failure involving the same system that Ford claims it previously inspected. I am concerned that the recall inspection may not have identified the problem or that the recall procedure or remedy was insufficient. The precise cause of the current failure is still being diagnosed. Approximately one and a half weeks before the incident, five replacement tires were installed by a mobile tire service. The replacement tires were the same type and size already used on the vehicle. There was no change in tire size and no tire related modification to the Bronco. Three lug nuts were also found loose following this incident. Approximately three months earlier, three lug nuts had come completely off the vehicle. Loose lug nuts were found again during a tire rotation approximately one month before this incident. I do not yet know whether the repeated loose lug nuts and the sway bar system failure are connected. This failure occurred while the vehicle was being driven, disabled the vehicle, and left me stranded. I am requesting that NHTSA document and investigate whether the sway bar recall inspection or remedy was inadequate, or whether another safety defect exists in my 2022 Ford Bronco.

  3 different incidents have came up with recalls that have been going on for awhile this a working vehicle that makes my money to pay for the loans, which for over a year have not made me any money costing me to lose money out of my own pocket, ford has not been willing to work with because it’s a used vehicle and I didn’t barrow money from to purchase this has been going on for more than a year it is ridiculous!!

• UNKNOWN OR OTHER,VISIBILITY/WIPER

  Windshield is leaking water/rain inside vehicle. I have it at All American Ford Old Bridge,NJ, for 15 days now and they want to charge me portion $256.76 plus tax. BUt, the Bronco has recall 222c12 or 25C52. I was willing to pay not knowing that there as a recall but they said if it breaks or cracks or chips while doing work they are not responsible to cover new windshield. please advise. They show on Ford recall website the recall complete, but my windshield was never removed, resealed and reinstalled. So that is a lie/fraud on All American Ford part. Please help. I have 2 other major issues with Bronco as well which are recalls that they made me pay for or did not resolve as of yet. I already paid for a middle roof panel and now front passenger roof panel must be replaced (recall 26S32) and they say it is not part of recall. And, the safety concern is the car just turned off on major highway 2 different episods one in May on NJ Turnpike I was almost hit from behind and the other was on Route 35 in Seaside Park, NJ in August. Same dealership said they can't experience it so they cannot diagnose and repair it. It is the fuel pump/loss of power issue #26V236000. the car has to be restarted and there is no warning. I am very worried about this.

  Fender flares (2) have detached. Flare 1: Passenger side, front wheel - it flew off while driving. Flare 2: Partially breaking / cracking off - on the drivers side, back wheel.

  The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

• ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

  Loss of power or acceleration randomly, when pressing on the pedal. A recall was issued that it was a fuel pump failure June of 2025. One year and two months later there is still no solution to this recall. I am mostly submitting this covering all bases and am filing a complaint with Ford motor company as well. This is a serious safety concern as without warning the car basically dies so turning in front of oncoming traffic or pulling out onto a road poses great risk when the vehicle may cease functioning.

• FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

  There is a manufacture recall for the low pressure fuel pump malfunctioning #25S75/NHTSA#25V455. There has been no action by the manufacturer to remedy this issue in a timely manner. This issue has been ongoing for over 1 year now with no corrective measures.

• FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE,ENGINE

  The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that while leaving the residence, the vehicle stalled on the highway. The driver was able to avoid a crash with a tractor-trailer. The check engine warning light illuminated intermittently, and a “Service Vehicle Soon” message was displayed. Additionally, there was a tool symbol displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer, and the contact was informed that the part needed to perform the recall repair of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); was not yet available. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.

• STRUCTURE

  The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced issues with hardtop roof panels. The hatch was cracked, and the forward removable panel had developed bubbles. The contact stated that the front driver’s side panel was chipped and detaching, and the underside of the roof was visible. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V299000 (Structure); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The dealer was contacted regarding the failure, and the vehicle was repaired under warranty. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the roof panel was not under warranty. The failure mileage was approximately 19,073.

• ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

  Safety Defect – Inadequate Warning and Insufficient Time to Respond to Alternator/Charging System Failure I am submitting this safety complaint regarding a dangerous condition in my 2022 Ford Bronco involving the charging system and alternator protection behavior. While driving, a warning related to the charging system/battery appeared. The message lacked sufficient clarity and urgency. The time from the warning until the 12-volt battery was fully depleted was extremely short—too brief to safely identify a location and pull completely out of traffic. Once the battery died: • The vehicle could not be placed in neutral, preventing it from being moved out of the travel lane. • There was insufficient power to operate the hazard lights. This occurred on a busy highway, leaving the vehicle disabled in traffic and creating a significant safety risk. I was fortunate it happened in daylight. Had it occurred at night without functioning hazard lights, the likelihood of a catastrophic accident would have been high. This aligns with known alternator/charging system issues on 2021-2022 Broncos addressed in Ford Technical Service Bulletin TSB 23-2238 (superseding TSB 22-2392). The combination of an unclear warning, inadequate response time, loss of neutral capability, and loss of hazard lights presents an unreasonable safety risk. I request that Ford investigate this condition, provide a permanent remedy, and improve the warning strategy so drivers receive clear, timely notice with enough opportunity to reach a safe location.

• ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE

  The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V468000 (Engine, Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while his wife was driving 70 MPH uphill, the vehicle lost drive power. Several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The driver was able to pull over to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the main wiring harness had dislodged, sat across the exhaust, and was burned. The dealer determined that the main wiring harness needed to be replaced, which required the temporary removal of several components. The contact was provided a repair estimate and was advised that the failure was not covered under the recall and that the vehicle was out of warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact obtained a rental vehicle out-of-pocket. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that partial assistance might be provided. The failure mileage was approximately 60,908.

• FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

  The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted and confirmed the part to do the recall repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.

• FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

  The structural fuel line located on top of the fuel tank ruptured, causing highly pressurized fuel to actively spray directly toward the hot exhaust piping on my 2022 Ford Bronco (44,657 miles). This failure created an immediate, catastrophic, and potentially fatal fire risk to myself and others. There were no warning lamps, error messages, or prior symptoms leading up to this failure; the severe leak was only discovered after a routine, short-distance trip to and from a local grocery store. The vehicle and the failed component are currently available for inspection upon request. To date, the vehicle has only been inspected by myself and a local Ford dealership. The dealership visually confirmed the leak but improperly misdiagnosed the structural line failure as "rodent damage" without providing any supporting physical evidence. However, multiple online owner forums suggest this specific fuel line failure is a known, systemic manufacturing concern. I escalated this issue to Ford Customer Service (Case #CXH-08762672-F7N2Y7), but Ford denied the warranty claim based solely on the dealership's misdiagnosis. My documented physical evidence clearly shows a component manufacturing rupture, not outside damage.

• STRUCTURE

  The hard top is cracking and letting water into the cargo area. It seems to be right outside the parameters for recall number 26S32. Talk to dealer over a month ago and have not heard back yet.
